The Languages of Sunnyhills

At Sunnyhills we are committed to developing a respect in our tamariki for the taonga of Te Reo Māori and an understanding of tikanga - cultural practices and values, in order to promote a more culturally aware Aotearoa in our future. 

In the spirit of ako (teachers learning alongside children), we are improving our own Te Reo Māori and Tikanga knowledge every day.  

Alongside our learning of our native and others languages of Aotearoa, at Sunnyhills we will endeavor to develop and celebrate an understanding of all cultures/ languages represented at Sunnyhills School.
